Sein Ma Ma is volunteering to MMIX _ Myanmar Internet Exchange Point as a coordinator with the Internet Society (ISOC) Asia Pacific team. Over a few years, she has been working at Yatanarpon Teleport PLC in Yangon, Myanmar, as an experienced Planning Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications industry.
She is interested in exploring Multi-Stakeholder Internet Governance, participated in many international workshops and conferences related to Internet Governance and technical matter like Internet Security. Currently contributing in the mentorship workgroup of Youth4IG: Asia Pacific’s first and only youth coalition that engages in Internet Governance.
Within 2 years, she was invited for travelling to 6 countries by awarding Asia Pacific Internet Community fellowships: APNIC44 (Taiwan), APAN45 (Singapore), APIGA2018 (Korea) , APSIG2019 (Thailand), APrIGF2019 (Russia) and APAN48 (Malaysia). In 2018, she was a part of the fellowship committee to evaluate the fellowship applications for APNIC48. She has been staying connected to the Asia Pacific Internet Community to enhance knowledge about Internet Governance, Digital Safety, Digital Citizenship engagement especially for Youth, Internet Policy and many more. She was featured in Internet Society (ISOC)'s blog, social media and APAC newsletter for her participation in APrIGF2019 in Vladivostok, Russia.
